The jeep route covers the sunrise point, the black lava field, the black sand area and the floating temple on Lake Batur. Your booking includes up to two of those spots, and visiting all of them costs IDR 200.000 extra for the morning.
Pickup beyond Kintamani
Hotel pickup and drop-off inside the Kintamani area is free and already in the price. From Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, Sanur, Denpasar and the south we arrange the transfer and confirm the cost with you on WhatsApp before you commit to anything.

The jeep is priced two ways and you are free to pick whichever is cheaper. From two travellers upward, hiring the whole jeep costs less than paying per head, and the vehicle is yours alone.

Is the Mount Batur entrance ticket included, or paid at the gate?
Our answer: Included. It is inside the rate on both the trek and the jeep tour, so nothing is collected from you on the mountain.

Is breakfast included, and where do I eat it?
Our answer: Included. On the trek you eat at the summit after sunrise; on the jeep tour breakfast comes with the sunrise viewpoint stop.

Is hotel pickup included, and from which areas?
Our answer: Free within the Kintamani area on both tours. Anywhere else in Bali we arrange it and confirm the cost with you first.

How large is the group, and can I go private?
Our answer: We run small groups. The jeep can be booked privately for up to 3 people at IDR 750,000, which is the cheaper option from two people up.

Do I need to pay a deposit to hold a date?
Our answer: No. There is no online deposit and no booking fee. Message us, we confirm availability, and payment is settled simply and directly.

Who actually runs the tour, the seller or a subcontractor?
Our answer: We do. You book with the Kintamani team that guides and drives the tour, not with an agent reselling someone else's morning.

How much is a Mount Batur sunrise tour per person?
IDR 550,000 per person for the sunrise trek, and IDR 550,000 per person for the 4WD jeep tour. A private jeep for up to 3 people is IDR 750,000 in total, which is cheaper than the per-person rate from two travellers upward.
Are there any hidden costs or booking fees?
No. There is no booking fee and no online deposit. The only optional extra is IDR 200,000 to cover all four jeep route spots instead of two, and a transfer cost if your hotel is outside the Kintamani area, which we always confirm with you before you book.
Why are cheaper Mount Batur tours advertised elsewhere?
Headline prices are often quoted before the entrance ticket, breakfast or hotel transfer are added, so the amount you actually pay on the day can be higher. Compare what each price includes rather than the number alone, and ask where the pickup starts from.
How and when do I pay?
You do not pay anything to ask about a date. Message us on WhatsApp, we confirm availability for your morning, and we settle the simple payment details with you directly. No card details are taken on this website.
Is the price per person the same for children?
Tell us the ages of the children in your group on WhatsApp and we will confirm the exact price for your booking before you commit. The jeep tour, with no climbing at all, is usually the easier choice with young children.
Can I pay in Indonesian rupiah, and is the price fixed?
All prices on this page are in Indonesian rupiah and they are the prices we charge. We confirm the final total for your group on WhatsApp before your morning, so there are no surprises at the trailhead.
