1. Introduction & acceptance

These Terms set out the basis on which we provide our tours and on which you may use this website. By making a booking enquiry, confirming a booking, or otherwise using the site, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms.

If you are booking on behalf of other people in your group, you confirm that you have their authority to accept these Terms on their behalf, and that you are responsible for ensuring they are aware of them.

2. About us & our tours

Do Your Journey is a Bali-based tour operator offering guided Mount Batur sunrise hiking and 4WD jeep tours in the Kintamani area of Bali, Indonesia. Most tours depart pre-dawn (around 03:00–03:30) so guests can reach the viewpoint in time for sunrise.

Hotel or area pickup is offered for many locations. The exact meeting point, timing and route are confirmed with you at the time of booking.

3. Bookings & enquiries

All bookings and enquiries are made through WhatsApp at +62 857-2692-5640. This site does not take automated or online bookings, and submitting a form or sending a message does not by itself create a confirmed booking.

A request becomes a confirmed booking only once we reply on WhatsApp to confirm availability, the price, the tour date and the pickup arrangements. Until you receive that confirmation from us, no booking exists and no place is held for you.

4. Prices & payment

Prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and are charged per person or per jeep, as stated for each tour. Prices on the site are indicative and may change at any time until your booking is confirmed; the price that applies is the one we confirm with you on WhatsApp.

Unless stated otherwise, prices cover only what is listed as included for the relevant tour. Payment method, timing and any deposit are arranged directly with us. Please clarify these on WhatsApp at +62 857-2692-5640 before you travel.

5. Cancellations, changes & refunds

If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking, please contact us on WhatsApp as early as possible. Any cancellation or amendment terms (including whether a fee applies) are confirmed with you at the time of booking.

We may need to reschedule or cancel a tour for reasons of safety, weather, or volcanic or seismic activity, or where conditions make the tour unsafe or impractical. If we cancel a tour for these reasons, we will offer you a reschedule to another date or a refund of amounts you have paid for the cancelled tour.

We are not responsible for separate costs you may incur (for example, accommodation, other transport or connecting activities) when a tour is rescheduled or cancelled for safety or weather reasons.

6. Health, fitness & safety

Sunrise hiking on Mount Batur is physically demanding. It takes place in the dark before dawn, in cool temperatures, and on steep, uneven volcanic terrain. You should take part only if you are in reasonable physical health and fitness.

By booking, you confirm that you are reasonably fit to take part and that you will tell us in advance about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or other circumstance that may affect your ability to join the tour safely. You must follow your guide's instructions at all times. Please also read our Disclaimer for important safety information.

7. What's included & not included

What is included in, and excluded from, each tour is set out on that tour's page. Inclusions vary between tours, so please check the specific tour page and confirm the details with us before booking.

8. Your responsibilities

• Be ready and available at the agreed pickup point at the agreed time. Tours depart very early and cannot always wait for late guests.
• Provide accurate booking details, including the number of guests, your accommodation or pickup location, and any relevant health information.
• Wear suitable clothing and footwear for a cool, pre-dawn mountain hike.
• Behave respectfully and safely towards your guide, other guests, local people and the environment, and follow all reasonable instructions you are given.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your tour or your use of this site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with a tour is limited to the amount you paid to us for that tour.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Force majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing a tour that is caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include, for example, severe weather, volcanic or seismic activity, earthquakes, fires, floods or other natural disasters, epidemics, civil disruption, and actions or restrictions imposed by a government or other authority.

11. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including its text, images, logos, layout and design, is owned by or licensed to Do Your Journey and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

12. Third-party links

This site may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as WhatsApp, that we do not control. We provide these links for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party site. Your use of those sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms, and any matter arising out of or in connection with them or with your tour, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. The courts of Indonesia have jurisdiction over any dispute that may arise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in effect on the date your booking is confirmed. Please check this page for the latest version before you book.
