1. Who we are

Do Your Journey ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and offers Mount Batur sunrise hiking and 4WD jeep tours in Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller responsible for your information.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers two things: (1) your use of our website, and (2) the messages you send us on WhatsApp to ask questions or book a tour.

Our website links out to third-party services (for example WhatsApp, Google Maps or social media). Once you leave our site or open a chat in WhatsApp, the privacy policy of that service applies, not ours.

3. Information we collect

(a) Information you give us via WhatsApp. When you message us to plan or book a tour, you choose what to share. This usually includes:

• Your name (and your WhatsApp profile name and phone number, which WhatsApp shows us automatically)
• Your travel dates and preferred tour
• Your group size (number of adults and children)
• Your hotel or pickup location in Bali
• Anything else you tell us in your messages, such as dietary needs, fitness questions or special requests

(b) Information collected automatically, with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we and our analytics providers collect technical and usage data to understand how the website is performing. This can include:

• Device and browser information (such as device type, operating system and screen size)
• Pages you view, links you click and how long you stay
• Your approximate location (city or region), estimated from your IP address; we do not collect your precise GPS location
• A reference to how you arrived (for example, from an ad or a search result)

If you decline cookies, none of the analytics or marketing tools above are loaded, and we do not collect this automatic data.

4. How we use your information

We use your information only for clear, limited purposes:

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange your tour: confirming availability, dates, pickup details and pricing

8. WhatsApp communications

When you message us, your chat is handled through WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp and Meta's own privacy policy, including their security and encryption. We keep the conversation only to plan, confirm and support your booking, and we do not add you to marketing broadcasts without your agreement.

9. How long we keep your data

We keep your booking and enquiry details only for as long as we need them to arrange your tour, provide support and meet any legal or accounting obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

Data collected through analytics and marketing tools is retained according to each provider's own retention settings and policies (see the links in section 7 and our Cookie Policy).

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. These include the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability: receive your data in a usable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

11. Children's privacy

Our website and tours are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Bookings should be made by an adult, who is responsible for any minors travelling in their group. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Our website is a static site served over a secure connection, which reduces the surface for attacks, and we do not take or store any payment card data on the site. Payments, where applicable, are arranged directly between you and us.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to keep our providers' safeguards in place.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
